November is National Adopt A Senior Pet Month: A month dedicated to helping older pets find loving forever homes. Shelters and rescues across the country hope those looking to adopt a new furry friend will consider adding a senior pet to the family this month! Hey everyone I am Cheech – I was brought into the shelter in October as a stray – I am a 10-year-old, 8 lb. short coat Chihuahua mix breed canine. I am known here as the ‘mellow senior!’ Winston, I hope you can help me – I am looking for a quiet, relaxing home to call my one and only. dog training 8 month old puppy I am a “chillin” sort of dog that really enjoys just relaxing on someone’s loving lap, or spending a little time outdoors. I like to hang out in the sunshine and check out the shelter yard. Due to my age, my hearing isn’t the best and my eyesight is getting dim but I am just a sweetheart. I need a family to keep good watch on my comings and goings. For my diet, I enjoy any wet dog food. By the way I also don’t mind sharing a home with a quiet laid-back cat or dog that has the same qualities as I do.
